they are tangential or coincidental to the UCLA program, but not specific to the UCLA job. Yes, we are in the Big 10, but then so are 15 other schools. Yes, the weather is nice. Yes, Southern California is a talent rich region, but we have not been able to attract the top level local talent in recent years. Yes, UCLA fans sometimes come out and support the team when it's good.

With all due respect, these are positives to the region, not specific to the UCLA football program directly. I would like to say, as program positives, that UCLA has a rich NIL endowment, that UCLA has built recruiting in roads over the years to the best So Cal high school football programs, that UCLA has the best training facilities and athletic perks (like a nice locker room and players lounge), that UCLA has an administration and athletic department that prioritizes (with resources) a winning football program.

These would be some specific UCLA attributes that make our head coaching job attractive, but we don't have these. We can only say the weather is nice and So Cal is a talent rich area that our cross town rival and other powerhouse football programs use as a farm system for their sustained success.
