To replace what you have lost. Ideally, this also leads to improving the roster. And when you look at just how many players we are losing to graduation, even if the staff had actually killed it with the quality of the guys they have gotten in the portal, it's kind of missing the entire point to say that we have replaced more than we lost based solely on incoming vs outgoing portal numbers. And even with that, it's unclear that the QB room has improved at all with the loss of Martyn for Aguilar. Based on both previous production and apparent overall talent we unquestionably have lost more at WR than was brought in. With half the roster now appearing to be DBs, we seem to have gained more than we lost there. OLine is arguably in better shape than it was at the start of portaling, but with where it was during the season and the lack of previous production of most of the guys they are bringing in, it's really hard to place much confidence in a really bad unit being any better
