In the Browns are paying Watson like 55mm next year with a cap allotment of like 75mm. Pretty hard to field a team with another expensive QB. That’s why it might make sense to keep him although the Browns will probably draft the left over between Cam and Sanders.
I’m not sure I’d want Watson as the mentor for my new QB, but the cap hit may be too painful to waive him. About the only thing that makes me feel better about the giants are the Browns and the jets. The Giants have become a trash franchise and they appear to be staying the course.
