As I mentioned in the post below, at least Aguilar has experience and was a top 10 qb in yards and tds a few years ago (33tds/10ints), right up there with Penix during his Heisman campaign year. And Penix did have more interceptions than Aguilar that year too (36tds/11ints). Kind of reminds me of the Penix gunslinger style as well which would have been great if JMS had stayed. At least we will be throwing some deep balls now more frequently if he's our guy next season. And as I also said, it will also allow Robert McDaniel a year to prep unlike Dante Moore who was thrown to the wolves as a freshman. Lots of discussion about him over on BG including that he might already be committed and the visit might just be a formality. Former Appalachian State QB Joey Aguilar tells ESPN he plans to set a visit next week to UCLA. He’s also heard from Cal, UCF, Washington State, Ole Miss, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Miami OH and WKU. UCLA is his only visit in the works. pic.twitter.com/aZWmcYmfTz Go Bruins!
