Part of this is, I think, that Indiana hadn't ever been there before, and they (as well as SMU) looked like the size of the stage impacted their performance, as well as being on the road.
Roarke was awful for 57 minutes. He looked way too jacked up with the way his passes were sailing, and the defense was a bit too jacked up too, missing assignments and tackles most of the first half, almost seeming as if they were trying to win the game with one play on every snap.
Notre Dame was ready to play, and played very well. If Indiana had been in good form, they might have had a shot, but they definitely weren't.
That said, ND can definitely beat Georgia, especially if Beck is out.
