EB's offense did nothing for Harden and Loya, and I'd leave if I were them too.
RE:Loya elsewhere:
He was our best 3rd down/possession/Red Zone receiver last year and this year. Half the time EB didn't even have him on the field.
I think he has a shot to make an NFL roster with his route-running and instincts and ability to get open at the sticks.
But, based on how we ignored him most of the year? Sure, I'd transfer too if I wanted a shot at the NFL
Re: Harden elsewhere:
TBH, Harden was an afterthought most games this year. We called as many as 5x as many passing plays as running plays in some games. We went from a top 20 rushing offense to almost dead last in rushing, and a huge factor there was play calling and game planning.
Harden averaged 7 ypc against SC and only got 14 carries. He only had more carries in ONE SINGLE GAME (and yeah, that was Iowa when he went for 125, and showed what he could do).
He should have been getting 20 carries per game. And yet there were many games where we didn't even call 20 running plays, and most games he got less than 10.
I'd leave too.
