I convinced myself that Bienemy saved a number of creative plays for this game.
Something we hadn't seen before which would wow us. Something revolutionary which wasn't seen in his, up to now, arsenal. But the result was same ol', same ol'.
The TV cameras showed him studiously looking at his play sheet as if he was looking for that very special play. But he didn't have to bother as the basic same four plays, which should've been memorized by now, was repeated with very little success, especially at crucial times.
The hype surrounding his hiring was just that. Very, very disappointing. And I don't see any improvements in the future. He is what he is. And Foster is not one to intervene to change a play. His role is simply to observe the game...like the rest of us.
On the positive side, and at the same time, unfortunately, Sturdevant's three great catches will be forgotten because of the loss.
