Last night I was telling my wife, when I played HS football (Freshman and Soph only), if someone false started during a game, we'd be running our azzes off at the next practice. If there was one. It's crazy how many FS pens we get.
That said, I think Mahe was the guy that got the FS you're talking about. During the broadcast they were saying that he didn't play football until he got to college? (I look forward to someone correcting me on that so I get what they were saying). Anyway, the guy on that particular call is super duper inexperienced.
Generally, I agree with your point, and there's a guy whose name I won't mention* on the OL that gets stupid penalty after stupid penalty. I'm only mentioning that play because he's the one guy who has hardly played any football. But, yes, totally agree with you.
*My mindset has always been that these guys are still young. I don't want to talk tooooo badly about any one guy. But, they are pro's now, they're getting paid. Say what you want as long as it's honest. But, this a.m., I'm not feeling like crappping on anyone
