I thought the running play on second down was the bad call. First off, we were not running the ball well. Second everyone knows we want to run clock. It's the expected play. If we can't run it when they're not expecting it, what makes the staff think we were going to run it with them knowing exactly what was coming? It was basically a trade off of a down for a timeout. Let's flip it. What happens if we throw an incompletion? Instead of getting the ball back with one less time outs and plenty of clock they have an additional timeout. The risk reward, with where they were on the field, where they were likely going to have to give the ball back, which was going to be a short field...to say the least. Bad call!!!
