We will all soon clamor to disappear the Ucla brand from the program. The faster the better. The program will suffocate under the Ucla-state-government blanket of Morgan Center. Pray we can get out from under before that happens.
We can only hope that the program can be managed under private contract and that Morgan Center is removed from executive management. Without this, the program as we have all known it will disappear.
It went bankrupt in 2019 and remains $160 million in debt. The B10 money may heal most of that, but then, when that contract is over, a new slide back into a second bankruptcy will begin. Ucla should see that as evidence they don't want to manage it anymore and hire someone who knows what they're doing.
