Anything to get him in space with the ball, ditto Jones. They aren't.
The playcalling and gameplans are not where they need to be. They do seem to be getting better with more running plays at least, but even those are not creative. Where were the Martyn designed runs in the 1st 3 quarters? Where's getting Jones on the outside? If we're going to run rpo/read option handoffs, where's the qb keeper?
It's befuddling.
The most important problem for the passing offense has been benching Loya, especially on 3rd down and red zone snaps. He's the only guy who reliably gets open, on time, for 1st downs. He needs to be in the lineup for every single 3rd down/red zone snap. Our 3rd down conversion rate is about 4-5 times better when he's on the field than when he's not
