Endangering A Player (Garbers) Challenges Foster’s HC Suitability

We already know he’s morbidly inarticulate, inept at recruiting for need, clueless in game strategy, embracer of an utterly impractical offensive scheme for college…
but Foster’s cellar floor broke to a new low when he disregarded the safety of a player allowing a hobbled and punch drunk Garbers to be further exposed to bodily harm vs Oregon Saturday night. Cringeworthy. Yes, we all crave a win but not at the expense of someone’s permanent damage.
Garbers wanted to play, sure, but it’s up to someone bearing the mantle of authority to make the hard sensible decision here . Like a Head Coach.
Foster, never the sharpest spoon in the drawer, has opened himself up for
administrative review and possibly censure of some sort, including (we can only hope) an invitation to a compensated resignation …
