The Big Ten wants the conference brand to stand for more than just sports. They want the name to resonate in the same way as "Ivy League". Lately, we've been the most "Ivy" of the public ivies. That's why we were invited to the party. But part of being a Chancellor at a Big Ten school is to embrace sports as integral to campus life.
All signs are that Frenk is in on that.
