various sports programs for the University. But, that was before he became Provost and his priorities shifted, leading up to his becoming Chancellor at UCLA.
There are no sports scholarships at Harvard to this day, something which is also true at all the Ivies.
So, yes, it's not a hotbed of sports. But, I once met with Carnesale in Gotham City at a UCLA event and we talked about sports at UCLA and he seemed into it...............even defending Steve Lavin after his firing!
