Are suddenly starting to recall how it is that Dante Moore ended up in the starting lineup to begin with. This is the same Ethan Garbers that we saw at the start of last season when Moore was brought in to bail him out. The fact that Chip did a horrible job subsequently in both preparing Moore as a starter and game planning to his strengths/minimizing his weaknesses and inexperience, did not make Garbers a good QB. Sure he had an impressive half in relief in our meaningless bowl game, but perhaps a bit too much was made of that cameo.
Garber's quote following yesterday's game, "This team is very resilient and we really needed to come and be shown that we are not there right now, there is a lot of work to be done. We are excited to do that work.” is awesome. "We are really fortunate that Indiana came in here and humiliated us on our home field in order for us to see just how bad we are. I mean just a few weeks ago Coach Foster was touting me as a possible Heisman candidate and look at me now, I'm actually the worst QB in the Big Ten, and also playing worse than any QB among all the teams from the former Pac12, so this is really exciting!!!
