Per the SI site, Reuben Unije and Garrett DiGiorio both practiced, so hopefully no excuses.
I did re-watch the game, and a LOT of the running game issues seemed to be the OT injury to Unije (77 missed a lot of blocks) and ones which coaching can fix.
How we do this week is going to be a really good evaluation of the Coaching Staff, both Coach Foster and Bieniemy/the offense.
IMHO, we really are the more talented team than Indiana AND we're at home.
yet, everyone is picking Indian to win as their lock, and Indiana is favored. Most people really don't think much of Foster/Bieniemy/Malloe and the team.
I think they are wrong, but this game is huge for us and Foster.
Lose this, and we're probably looking at 1-4, and quite possibly 1-10 to start. And if that happens, EVERYTHNG Foster did in the offseason is going to fall apart, and we could easily see a mass exodus of recruits and transfers which it would take years to recover from
It isn't a stretch to say this may be the most important game since losing the SC game in 2001 (Pete Carroll's first year, and the start of the SC dynasty, and fall of UCLA for most of the next 2 decades)
