I saw John Fogarty the other night. At one point, they put a picture of him and his wife on the screen. They are both plastic surgery disasters. They looked bizarre. But, these days no one would think anything of it. It's weird that people think looking like that looks better than having some wrinkles.
If you teleported them into the 50's, they would be cast in the Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder episode of Twilight Zone. Not as the patient.
