I can't see how you or anyone could know that. Therefore, how can you assert something as fact that is unknowable?
I agree that Foster's contract is ridiculous at 5 years. But, that doesn't mean it's a gamble. It means that, from a Morgan Center point of view, they get a HC on the cheap.
And, let's not forget that Jarmond's job is up for review right now. He needs an extension too, so he has to tow the "cheap" line preferred at Ucla so that the new Chancellor will extend him. If Jarmond gets fired, I would take that as a positive sign and a move toward better leadership.
