I don’t think that’s what he’s trying to say. The dude wasn’t even fired. Every other HC since TD was fired. Dorrell and Neuheisel was both significantly worse coaches, although RN was vastly superior recruiter.
I think he’s trying to say Chip left icla in an untenable position by leaving so late in the process.
