I'm really hoping for a big year for Garbers.

A few thinks that come to mind for me regarding Garbers. A few years ago I watched Garbers and DTR warming up and Garbers' passes just look tighter and more on target than DTR's. I was always curious to see him get the reigns for a full year.

Garbers reminds me a bit of Drew Olson who I thought was a really good QB at Ucla, but kinda got overshadowed by alot of off the field stuff. I used to just enjoy watching Olson play his Senior season. This year with all the off field clutter with the HC quitting, new HC without experience, and first season in Big 10, I hope people can sit back and enjoy watching him play. He may have a pretty good year statistically.

Finally, when the QUITTER left, my first concern was Garbers hitting the transfer portal. I wouldn't have blamed him so really glad he's here. There's no SAVIOR or CHOSEN ONE label and pressure, so I'm hoping for a Drew Olson type year.
