I'm am alone in this point of view, but I'm just posting facts. In 2017 Rosen missed time with injuries. Modster was a freshman. He put up better stats than Rosen on a per pass basis. If you scale Modster's pass attempts up to Rosen's number, Modster would be sliiiiiightly behind in TD's. But, Modster had zero interceptions on 79 attempts, to Rosen's 10 on 278.
Imo, Modster always looked nervous when he came in. It took him a moment to settle down. But, he was very good once he had a series. That nervousness didn't resume each game, it was just his first series or two each season. I can see where a new coach would put him in, and think "hell no" very quickly w/o letting him get settled. But, he could play. JMO
