What happened was DJU can’t stretch the field. He’s is just a terrible passer anything mover than 15 yards past the LOS. Consequently, DCs can play closer to the LOS and you can shut down the short pass and rushing game. This is whst occurred in almost every Clemson game. I didn’t play much attention to him in Corvallis last year. He’s also a terrible runner and poor decision maker.
If you want to point to 5 star busts, he’s as clear an example as one can find. Many are often derailed by injuries. He was just poorly rated/scouted. Thr measurables looked great, but that’s it.
