'SC is more talented than we were in the lead up to the break thru last year, but we had dramatically improved our tackling, and McGovern did some good things before his health condition led to the defense regressing as '22 went along - When he was healthy, we did really well against UW and Utah, but we did get worse and worse as he missed more and more time.
Lynn inherited a much better defensive culture and mindset with us as compared to what he has now - per the B1G show, SC was just about the worst tackling team in D1 last year.
