All evidence suggests that Chip made a conscious decision that he and his staff were NOT going to put in the the time and energy necessary to effectively recruit HS talent.

And given that you have for quite some time appeared very certain in your disbelief of the Chip phoning it in narrative, and moreover have consistently pointed the finger at Morgan Center and the Admin for supposedly placing recruiting restrictions on Chip (again with absolutely ZERO evidence to support you belief in such), please explain to the rest of us why it is that Chip failed to go after a large number of talented HS recruits that had no issues qualifying academically? Because as you state it, being a high level recruit and having decent academics are mutually exclusive, which of course they are not.
