Fans don't like it. The media doesn't like it. But all it does is win football games.
Chip was pretty consistently 50/50 on run/pass ratio. But maybe that's because 10 or so pass plays a game ended up being sacks or scrambles. So maybe even chip was weighted to passing plays.
EB has a track record, but it's mostly nfl. And he was heavily pass oriented in the nfl.
DeShaun does *not* have a track record. He's said, "you know me. We're gonna run the rock." Man, I hope he's going to stick with that. I think the LSU game is going to be a good acid test. Ucla stuck with the run game in 2021 v LSU and it paid off. Let's see if he can stick to his guns.
