Full disclosure, my recollections are from 30 years ago.
I bought my ticket through UCLA. My seat was behind the endzone, facing Lake Washington. It was quite scenic.
I don't know if they use the same arrangement today.
In 1994, UW and Cal were road games in successive weeks. I flew to Seattle and stayed for a few days at a B&B in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. There was a bus stop across the street that connected to both downtown and UW. Could not have been more convenient.
Then I took Amtrak's Coast Starlight to the Bay Area where my sister lived. We both went to the Cal game.
