Awesome experience. Saw LSU vs. Florida so full SEC deal. Cannot say enough about how fun it was and how great the whole gameday experience is.
We stayed in New Orleans and it’s easy to get a bus/transport to and from. Super quick to get there but parking/traffic is another story. We got to the highway exit from N.O. in about 70 minutes. It took about 2 hours from the exit to park. Again maybe different for others but high traffic + smaller town = congestion.
Something that we didn’t do but should have is tailgate setup service. You can pay something like $250 and have someone set up a tailgate area in advance, again, is something we should have done. Locals were super friendly and willing to share food and alcohol so up to you.
Altogether amazing experience. Hoping to go for the Bruins’ game vs LSU but not sure if the timing will work given other stuff going on. But I would go in a heartbeat if other stuff weren’t in the way.
