(Walton's senior year) He got into, and drove away in, a not-new Datsun 210 2-door (I think; it's been a long time) from which he had removed the driver's seat - he was sitting on the back seat driving the car. One of the crazier things I've seen.

The point is, if he was getting paid, it wasn't much.
