If the NCAA can't set rules, why stop there?

It sounds like all the judges say the NCAA cannot set rules on who is eligible to play college sports.

Why shouldn't a young man be able to play 6, 7, or 8 years? Why 5? It's so arbitrary.

Why should a player need to go to school to play for a team? What other job requires you to be attending school full-time to make a living?

Why have maxium age limits or restictions based on prior work? What job requires you to NOT having worked in the field before? Why shouldn't LeBron be able to play college ball after he is done with the NBA? Maybe he and his sons can return to college together.
