I'm thinking along the same lines as you. My guess is Booker gets the first crack at the more traditional 5 spot. Contrary to what a lot of people think, maybe even yourself, I actually believe he's going to have a solid year.

I don't expect him to suddenly become a dominant low-post presence, but I do think he'll improve on what we saw last season and give us solid production. There's no questioning his outside shot, and if he's pulling opposing bigs out to the three-point line, that opens the paint for our forwards. That's a big advantage in my opinion.

I also think we'll be in good shape when he's off the floor. I can see us playing smaller with Jovic at the 5, and I think the other forward spot will be pretty interchangeable depending on the matchup.

Overall, I'm optimistic because this roster looks much more physical than last year's. Dailey was probably one of our more physical players a season ago, but this year he'd be closer to the other end of that spectrum. That tells me Booker won't be sharing the floor with another undersized or less physical frontcourt player as often. With Kusturica and Freeny playing the 3, even our small forwards should be able to rebound, defend, and hold their own around the basket.

So yeah, I'm feeling pretty positive about this team.
