Wisne et al v. National Collegiate Athletic Association follows the playbook of the state lawsuits alleging that the NCAA's new rules "unlawfully strip" players who used their fourth season of eligibility in 2026 of "earning potential, educational advancement, and athletic career opportunities."
======================
Based on that logic, wouldn't any rules rob players of "earning potential, educational advancement, and athletic career opportunities"?
What about a 6th year? What about a 7th? What about kids who don't attend classes? What about guys who played five years in the NBA, but didn't get their contract renewed?
If the players win, expect MUCH MORE chaos than we already have in college hoops. College sports will just become more groups of professional teams.
