make a lot of sense - if one is inclined to think about such things. On a very simple level it just means that the only thing one can be certain of is that one's own mind exists. Everything else could be an illusion. That can bring one into the realm of science, theology, and even art. Heavy stuff. But yeah, in everyday thinking it is usually thought of as self-centeredness. Even that, however, can be viewed on a logical plain and not a pejorative. How else can anyone see the world but through their own thought, experience, and vision?
