Bryce Alford??? He missed more shots than any UCLA player in history, played zero defense and wasn't "one of the best three-point shooters college basketball has ever seen". Jason Kapono wasn't the only one who shot a higher percentage from long range for the Bruins during his career. In fact Alford isn't even in the top-10.
I'd take Jaime Jaquez and Johnny Juzang over Alford, both who made All-American teams. But the one I would take who played shooting guard for some of his career also made All-American, was the leading scorer in the Pac-12 one season, had a much higher career 3-point percentage than Alford and made the PAc-12 All-Defensive team: Aaron Holiday.
