I built a little app to track Bruins in the pros. Here's a recap of how each of the 2026 National Champion Bruins are doing in the WNBA:

2026 Champion UCLA Bruins in the WNBA

Lauren Betts — Washington Mystics (C, rookie bench center)

Season: In her 2026 rookie season, Betts is averaging 6.6 PPG, 3.6 RPG, and 0.7 APG in 16.6 minutes per game across 17 appearances off the bench for Washington.

Recent: In her most recent outing (June 27 loss to the Sun), Betts posted 5 points and 6 rebounds in 17 minutes, but she had a breakout performance earlier on June 12 — a career-high 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting in an 86-85 win over Toronto, with rebounding consistency showing at least 5 boards in 4 of her last 6 games.

Betts, the 4th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, is navigating a crowded Washington frontcourt that includes veterans Shakira Austin and Kiki Iriafen, limiting her to bench minutes despite her high draft pedigree. Her efficiency and flashes of dominance — including that career-high 18-point, near-perfect shooting night — suggest she has starter-caliber upside as her role gradually expands.

Angela Dugalić — Washington Mystics (F, rookie bench forward)

Season: In her 2026 WNBA rookie season across 13 games played, Dugalić is averaging 5.4 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 0.8 APG on 44.6% shooting, working her way into Washington's rotation off the bench.

Recent: Dugalić has seen her role fluctuate with Kiki Iriafen's ankle injury opening opportunities, including a 13-point, 3-rebound performance in 12 minutes vs. Seattle and a stretch where she averaged 6.7 PPG and 7.0 RPG over three games; she was also active in the Mystics' June 26 loss to Connecticut (68-57).

Dugalić is a 6-4 rookie forward for Washington who was selected 9th overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft after winning the 2026 NCAA championship with UCLA, where she earned Big Ten Sixth Player of the Year honors. She brings versatile frontcourt size and floor spacing to a historically young Mystics roster still building toward playoff contention.

Gabriela Jaquez — Chicago Sky (G/F, starting rookie wing)

Season: In 14 games played during her 2026 rookie season, Jaquez is averaging 9.7 PPG, 4.4 RPG, and 1.2 APG on 42.7% shooting, though her numbers dipped from a hotter early stretch (11.5 PPG over her first 6 games) due to a left knee injury that cost her multiple games.

Recent: Jaquez has been battling a lingering left knee injury since missing games after May 23 vs. Minnesota — in her last game before the injury she managed just 7 points in 23 minutes — and was subsequently upgraded from OUT to questionable ahead of a late-early-June matchup, suggesting a return was approaching; she appears to have since returned based on the 14 games played on record.

A 2026 first-round pick (No. 5 overall) out of national-champion UCLA, Jaquez immediately stepped into a starting role for a Sky team decimated by injuries, showing versatility, toughness, and a reliable three-level scoring game. Her long-term outlook is bright — she was one of the most impactful rookies in the WNBA before the knee setback — but Chicago's 6-12 record underscores how much they've missed her and fellow injured starters.

Gianna Kneepkens — Connecticut Sun (G, rookie reserve guard)

Season: In her 2026 WNBA rookie season with Connecticut (2-14), Kneepkens is averaging approximately 3.0 PPG, 1.3 RPG, and 0.6 APG as a bench contributor on a struggling Sun squad.

Recent: Most recently she chipped in 4 late points in Connecticut's 92-63 win over the Chicago Sky on June 22 — the Sun's first home win of the season — after appearing in a loss to Washington (88-81) on June 17; her role remains limited off the bench.

Kneepkens, the 15th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft, came to Connecticut fresh off winning the NCAA title with UCLA, where she averaged 12.8 points across 38 games in that championship run. She is still carving out her pro role as a rookie guard on a rebuilding Sun team, and her shooting pedigree — a 44.8% three-point shooter in college — gives her long-term upside as she develops.

Kiki Rice — Toronto Tempo (G, starting PG)

Season: In 10 games played in the 2026 WNBA rookie season, Rice averaged 12.7 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 2.6 APG on 53.3% FG shooting before being sidelined by injury.

Recent: Rice has been out since June 3 after suffering a Grade 3 left ankle sprain (initially classified as Grade 2, then upgraded) when she landed awkwardly after being blocked by Jonquel Jones against the New York Liberty; the Tempo expect her to return later this season but have set no firm timetable.

The sixth overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft and the first selection in Toronto Tempo franchise history, Rice started 7 of her 10 games and quickly emerged as one of the league's top rookies before the ankle injury derailed her momentum. She is expected to return this season, and when healthy she figures to anchor the Tempo's starting backcourt for years to come.

Charlisse Leger-Walker — Connecticut Sun (G, rookie guard / rotation scorer)

Season: In her 2026 WNBA rookie season, Leger-Walker has appeared in 17 games for the Sun, averaging 6.3 PPG, 1.5 RPG, and 2.6 APG on 40.2% FG and 31.3% from three.

Recent: She's shown strong form over her last two games, posting 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists in a 92-63 win over Chicago on June 22, then contributing 10 points and 5 assists in a 68-57 win over Washington on June 26 — Connecticut's first two-game win streak of the season.

Leger-Walker, the 18th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft out of NCAA champion UCLA, is carving out a rotation role for a struggling Sun squad (4-15) that is still finding its footing. Her playmaking and occasional scoring pop give Connecticut a reliable guard option off the bench as the team works through a difficult inaugural season under new circumstances.
