For those of you watching this recruitment with bated breath, I think it's important to recognize that Kusturica will not be a particularly impactful player in 2026-27, for whichever team he lands with. We're talking about a 17 year old, very physically underdeveloped player. He may become a good player in a few more years, but he's a major project at this point.
It's a little crazy that so much space has been spent here about a guy who (a) probably isn't coming to UCLA and (b) won't impact the 2026-27 season.
It speaks volumes about the current state of UCLA basketball.
