in these dog days of FB and BB, sites have to post stories. So - Kris doesn't say we'd have a chance with him; his focus is on this guy could become available for college recruiting. Given our lineup, I agree with you - would love to see him on the team. The rest of the picture is where Cronin's reputation can work for us. If he isn't interested in playing any defense or rebounding, he is extremely unlikely to choose to play for UCLA. The value of having a guy of his size who hits almost half of his there point shots can't be ignored. He comes into the game and he opens the court. The perimeter of the defense has to extend.
But if this guy does decide to drop out of the draft and Yessoufou does also, we'd have two top targets - one an elite athlete who struggles to shoot and the other a so-so athlete and defender who is a demon shooter. If only we could merge the two into one player - what a player he would be...
