I'm old, and have never been blessed with great intellect. So, I'd have to pencil the rounds out to get a sense of who's going to play who. Like, it looks like it will get teams 65 through 76 more games? And, kinda like the first four, won't really affect teams 1-64?
If that's correct, I don't mind it so much. I don't pay attention to the first four (unless UCLA is in it). I won't pay attention to these extra games. But, it sounds like it would give teams that were 15-16 seeds chances to have games that aren't blowouts. I guess, I feel more strongly about this for the women's side because the gaps between the best teams, good teams, etc, seem to be so much bigger.
