One of the early stories is turnovers - we had 8 in the first 14 minutes of the game (to Duke's 4 at the time). Some were quick hands, some inattention to ball security and others were a few very ill-advised passes - CLW and Angela.
The other early story is shooting - they were shooting 55% - we were shooting 50% but we blew a number of 1' shots - a bit rushed.
At the half, we're shooting 56% to Duke's 53. But we're 0-3 behind the arc
Other things I find it hard to understand - OOB play with 2 minutes left and we set up Sienna Betts for a three point attempt from the corner???
TOs at the half are UCLA 12, Duke 6.
Duke just playing really well. Their pressure defense probably the story of the half. As to the TOs, at this point FOUR Bruins have 2 TOs each: Angela, Charlisse, Gabriela and Lauren.
Lots of work to do - at this point Duke is the significantly better team out there
