on a high level D1 team. I've seen his progress over this entire last season and he is not the same player he was in October. Who knows what kind of player he will be by next October. His body is lean. His arms hardly have any definition to them. IOW, no muscles. Often very tall lean players have difficulty putting on bulk. That could change. Sometimes the metabolism changes quite suddenly and they can bulk up. Even if not, lean muscle can be added with diligent weight room work. Hand strength can be improved. Mentalities can be adjusted. Right now Cronin needs a center that's starter ready - starter ready for the B1G, and that's not booker. In October, if he doesn't get that big, he may find he already has one. I understand the problem. Cronin needs to go after that guy now. He doesn't have the luxury to wait til October to sign a transfer. The "maybe" I injected in my post was to acknowledge that he may find that he didn't need to fulfill what he thought would be a need. Still, right now, he has to go out and try to get that guy. I think he knows that. I think Booker probably also knows that. If he doesn't, I'm sure Cronin will tell him. If Cronin doesn't tell him, he should IMO.
