She’s not a starter at sc, but she clearly got out while the gettin was good. Can’t hold leaving against her. Don’t like that she went to sc. but, she didn’t have to move, prolly thought she would start. From a playing time view, she was smart to get out. From a logistics view, sc made sense. I’m sure she’s still in good terms with her ucla teammates.
From a loss perspective, Aarnisalo is the one that hurts. She’s a much better player than Jones, could have been useful this season and would be the starter next season. She starts for a good UNC team. Of the departures last season, the freshman confound me wayyyy more than jones. And of the freshmen Aarnisalo is the only real loss. Dudley is going to be stuck behind Olson, Holloway, and swords the rest of her career. Cain did nothing at Oregon, maybe she’ll be a decent player someday. Socka was ok at Indiana. I thought she’d be a very good player.
