Jake just responds with emotion. Heck, I did also in the first half. Visions of that Texas game came back to mind, I thought we were over that over-confident, lackadaisical way to come out and play. And we weren't able to throw the switch until the halftime break. We'd have defeated Texas had we adjusted our effort sooner. We were too passive on defense, giving them open looks. I thought we'd see a change after halftime and we did. Jake just felt I was over-reacting and probably I was. It's all good. He gets frustrated with stuff and his language choice can be over the top but what the heck - it's the board and everyone can see it their way. I think we all benefit from the different points of view.
Hoping for a more complete game tomorrow and for the men tonight - huge challenge for us today. Hope Tyler can go. And looking forward to both that game and the women's game tomorrow.
