Well, the Bruins wanted to use this game to make a statement to the rest o the field and I think they have - but it's not one they should be very happy to have made. No defense and we're making Ms. Bucher a star....
They can't handle the altitudinally advantaged Bruins at UCLA's offensive end but the message this first half is look what a 51 point underdog could do against them, so can the top teams. That laser focus they once had has seemingly evaporated in a cloud of media ops to tell everyone how wonderful we are....

Kiki is 2-8, Gianna 1-5 (and the freshman, Sienna, is 1-4).
Lauren has 14 and is the entire reason the Bruins lead this one.
As the hall of fame former ND coach said at halftime, UCLA did not come out ready to play this game. Again. Perhaps Coach Cori needs to focus a bit more on making sure her team is ready to play coming out to start games than to just support her players in all their off-the-court endeavors....
