You may be right, but Mara came on strong even at UCLA towards the end of the season. It's hard to say, for me at least, whether he is doing better because of the system or because he is just older and better. His numbers don't look much beyond what I would have projected he returned.
Like you said water under the bridge but I think it stings because we haven't really replaced that role.
