During our Friday game against Central Florida, TBS said that Perry was shooting 87% on his FTs this season. But we've all noticed that he's been especially good late in the season. So just for kicks, while trying not to watch the Puke-TCU game too closely, I decided to channel my inner Dr.Bruin and do a breakdown:
* For the entire 2025-26 season to date, Perry is 132 for 153, or 86.3%. PRIOR to the UCF game, he was 125 out of 143, or 87.4% (where TBS got their figure)
* For the months of November and December 2025, Perry made 31 of 42 FTs, or 73.8%
* For 2026, Perry is 101 for 111, or 90.99 (91)%. Taking out the UCF game, in which he inexplicably missed 3 of his 10 FTs, he was 94 for 101, or 93%
Bottom Line: He's no Rod Foster, ;-) , but Trent Perry has become one hell of a great FT shooter.
