Technically, UCF did not grab 53 rebounds. Ten of them were team rebounds, which were rebounds nobody actually caught but those which were knocked out of bounds or a foul was called and the ball was awarded to them. Ten is a very large number, since the average is less than five for most games. One can count them as rebounds we didn't get, not those the other team got. Bad, but not quite as bad as just giving up a rebound.
So the actual (real) rebounds were 43-35, not 53-41.
