A lot of it also depends on what the rest of the field does. There are always bid stealers—teams that have been pretty average all year but get hot and run through their conference tournament. Like you said, there’s still a lot of basketball left to be played.
This is all harmless speculation, but honestly, I’ve felt for a while now that we might be in trouble. I hope I’m wrong. The Bruins are absolutely capable of going into Michigan and pulling out a win. They’re also just as capable of losing at Minnesota and getting swept by suc. It could break any number of ways.
I do think those of us who are concerned have valid reasons to feel that way. Despite the talent on the roster, the Bruins really haven’t given us much to hang our hat on or feel confident about so far.
