First UCLA up by 6 or 8, then Indiana up by 6, then UCLA on a 15-2 run and then somebody - Brandon Williams? Dailey? - just fell asleep and allowed Bailey an uncontested dunk and and-one at the end of the half. (Great half court attempt by Dent at the end of the half).
First 10 minutes was a wrestling match - really intense play. As mh made clear in his preview a real contrast of playing styles. Indiana's dependence on threes could get them completely left behind or give them a real chance to win.
Dailey opened up with one over aggressive drive into three defenders and miss but he's played well over all and as the man said, he's got a physicality that Indiana can't match in the paint but they swarm inside so the Bruins can't over use that or make it too obvious.
I expect they will try to figure out how to use Dailey more in the second half. Quite a contest out there.
