this year. Very poor decision making and careless ball handling with 19 turnovers (8 by PG Cadeau) and very poor three point shooting with only 6 of 26. They actually haven't been playing that well, even while winning, the past 5 or 6 games.
In addition, there were some questionable calls and no calls that went their way. That baseline drive basket by McKinney that put them ahead 74 to 72 could have been called a charge on him, IMO. Wife, a rabid Mich fan, and I both agreed it looked like a charge. But no call either way--play on. The second half was a different game with a lot more defense being played. Mich 27, Neb 22 after Neb led at the half 50 to 48.
And then there was the free throw disparity. Neb 3/4 and Mich 19/23. In fact Mara made the ft that gave them the 3 point lead with little time to play. But you are right, Mich was very lucky to win this one. But my wife said she'll take it. I told her to beware as the Bruins would be invading their house on the 14th of Feb.
