Of course the B1G wanted UCLA and it's rival. Otherwise, the schools would have all voted against expansion. Easy peasy. But every B1G school has a high concentration of alumni in SoCal and Fox wants the SoCal eyeballs.
Cause ain't nobody gonna sit down with poor triggered Ty to watch a Hawkeyes game.
And Cronin actually let the B1G schedulers off the hook, because UCLA started the primary conference season with 4 road games in 14 days, which was the start of Winter Quarter, which is tough on any student.
So, if Ty really feels that bad about the whole thing, maybe he should take the corn cob outta his butt. He'll probably feel a whole lot better.
