Dent- finally played with aggression despite some early misses (including a bad airball). In prior games he would just shut it down and play passively. Instead he kept shooting and most importantly, took it to the rim. Keep shooting through the missed shots. Keep getting to the rim even if your shot gets blocked a few times.
Now can he play with that same aggression we saw last night consistently going forward or will passive Dent return? Recall he had a big game against Iowa early this month, but then reverted the next 4 games.
Also with Dent it seems like it's all or nothing. He's either passive or, against Iowa and Purdue, he gets it going and then there is a little bit of hero ball where he's trying to score every possession (or driving and dishing for the assist). I'd take the latter aggression over the former passivity but it would be nice if he could find a nice balance between finding his own and keeping the whole team in a rythym.
Good step forward last night lets hope it continues.
